Hi and welcome to Honey Bee Design . 
As a child, one of my greatest pastimes was watching both my mother and grandmother create handmade items with their own hands. My mother was an exceptional dressmaker and often made my clothes for me. And my grandmother worked with furniture and was an expert upholsterer. So, from as early as I can remember, I was surrounded by fabric. The vibrant colors and rich textures...what's not to love? I loved visiting fabric stores and would run my fingers across the skeins of fabric while dreaming of what I could make. With encouragement from my mother, I began to learn to sew. 
As an adult, I yearned to create handmade items that would truly bring joy to someone's life. With the help of my mother, I opened Honey Bee Design as a way to connect with people from all over the world and provide them with gorgeous designer accent cushion covers at affordable prices. To me, there is just something so magical about taking a simple piece of fabric and transforming into a work of art using only my sewing machine.

The honey bee design team consist of my wonderful mother and I. We have been working together for a few years now. We get on so well and are always laughing together!!!!. We really love what we do, My mother has been such a huge support in helping me turn my passion of sewing into a business. I can't thank her enough.
